If I were a Councillor I would:

Encourage new development in the townships along the Calder Freeway, rather than on the fringes of Castlemaine.

Encourage compact development so that people can easily walk or cycle to work and the shops rather than depend on cars.
Promote better public transport, particularly by rail.
