Sherriff's Bridge Gaulton Street

A resident alerted me to the Sherriff's Bridge in Gaulton Street: if you are walking, riding on a motorised scooter, or cycling, it is a terrifying experience if two cars are crossing the bridge in different directions. What can be done? We can't tear down this old bridge. One solution, but an expensive one, is to build a separate shared bridge for pedestrians and cyclists. Another option is to make Gaulton Street a one-way street. This would be inconvenient for some people, but it might be an option worth exploring.
